Contactless RFID cards are becoming increasingly popular for use in business processes. In particular, within companies where access control and time attendance systems, customer loyalty systems are installed.

EM-Marine ISO Proximity Card - a 0.8 mm thick plastic card that operates in the low frequency range, approximately 125 kHz. The distance from which it works depends on the reader and is possible up to 10 cm. This is one of the most popular contactless cards.

On the market, this card is found under several names
Such as - Proximity Cards, Contactless Cards, RFID Cards, Magnetic Cards, PVC/Plastic Cards, Em Marine ISO Cards, EM4100, TK4100, TK4200, TK4101 and some others.

The TK4100 card has a memory of 5 bytes. It is a UID, a unique identifier.

This data on each card is unique and factory printed. This information cannot be rewritten. Em-marine Compatible Card readers read information using different algorithms. You can view data in hexadecimal and decimal systems. Also, the data can be read in a different order.

The surface of a standard blank card is white and smooth. This shape is made for the possibility of imprinting various additional information on the card's surface - a photo, a logo or a serial number.

It is important to note that the surface of "Standard" cards is not ideal. If you want to print on them with a plastic card printer, and your printer doesn't have the option to place a protection layer before the inks, then a Premium surface card would be a better option for you. If your layout does not require a full print, but, for example, only a number and a logo, then you can use the standard cards for any type of thermal printer.

The distinguishing features of a Premium surface card - surface quality and thickness. These cards have a more even surface and are slightly thicker. Thanks to these factors, we get better print quality and greater durability, so the card can be used for a longer period of time.
